The Echad l’Echad Foundation was established in 2009 in order to assist those dedicated to Torah learning within religious Zionist establishments throughout Israel as well as supporting needy families within the religious Zionist community. The foundation is an address and sympathetic ear to the needs of the dati leumi community with an emphasis on supporting the growth and development of Torah and Torah learning. The fund operates with full transparency and is a non-profit enterprise. Religious Zionist roshei yeshivot as well as community rabbis partner with the fund’s activities and based on their recommendations the fund grants support to avreichim and families in need of support. The rabbis play a central role in the decision process out of the belief that as community rabbis and heads of institutions, it is essential for each rabbi to be involved and engaged in the lives of all members of their communities and/or yeshiva.
The foundation was established by Rabbi Yitzchak Neriya – Rosh Yeshiva “Torah B’tzion”. In the past he served as head of the Ohr Etzion high school as well as head of the beit midrash program “Torah Mitzion” in Montreal, Canada.
Director of Echad l’Echad and “Torah B’Tzion” is Mr. Chen Guterman.
Chairman of the association committee for “Torah B’Tzion” is Mr. Zev Schwartz, founder of the Torah Mitzion movement, and past director of World Bnei Akiva.
Assistant chairman of the association committee for “Torah B’Tzion” is Mr. Yehuda Am-Salem, founder of the “Shoulder to Shoulder” organization and social activist.
Friends of the association: Mr. Yehoshua Zackbach, Gadi Tzadok and Elchanan Tzaidi.
To my dear family at large,
Thank you very much for your interest in our website. I have no doubt that after checking out our activities and operations, you will want to become partners with us in building up the religious Zionist world of Torah to become stronger, more expansive and established.
With Hashem’s great mercy, since the year 2009 we have merited in assisting, under the public radar, thousands of families throughout the religious Zionist spectrum, quietly, honestly, respectfully and with trust. Alas, after many years of working behind the scenes, now we need your support in our activities. We hope you will partner fully with us in this enormous chessed and support of the religious Zionist world of Torah.
We love the religious Zionist world of Torah and know that it is the only guarantee for an open and flourishing continuation of Israeli society. Because of a profound confidence in the religious Zionist community, we are confident that together we can establish and strengthen the religious Zionist world of Torah.
The Echad l’Echad Foundation operates on two parallel plains:
Locating and nurturing excellent avreichim, those with the potential to become spiritual leaders of the next generation. Constant monthly support given to these such families is the guarantee for producing the leaders and educators of our next generation.
Strengthening waivering avreichim, whose financial situations may not allow them to continue in their Torah studies and by assisting these avreichim we give them the opportunity to continue in their Torah studies. The Torah commands us to give them "די ,מחסורו אשר יחסר לו" to observe and review the needs of each family and how to properly assist them before the holidays in order to provide them with a joyful holiday.
With tremendous humility and appreciation to all of our donors, we are honored, starting today, to be your messengers!
With blessings from Zion,
Rabbi Yitzchak Neriya
Chairman, Echad l'Echad
The topic of “transparency” within the fund’s operations is what keeps us going. The foundation took upon itself to be the leading force in the field of accessibility of information in the area of financial conduct and allocation donated on the website and through the fund. We are committed to do our utmost in order to uphold this mission in the most optimal way and to allow donors to feel the trust required that their donations reach their destinations in a manner consistent with their intention when the donation was made. Budget control, ongoing reporting of activities and financial reports are displayed in a “transparent” manner and are accessible on our website. All financial activities within the fund are shared with and supervised regularly by Rabbi Yitzchak Neriya, Rosh Yeshiva of Torah B’Tzion, and are controlled and overseen by Yoni Shekalim, CPA and Yaakov Jehasi, CPA.
We turn to all of us with an earnest request:
Come and partner with a fund that supports religious Zionist hand-picked outstanding students and their families.
