Our Programs

We currently operate three main tracks to meet our goals.

01

Torah Scholars Excellence Program

We search from amongst thousands of dedicated, earnest talmidei chachamim and pinpoint the most erudite scholars with the rare combination of drive and talent to become the next generation of Torah leaders, and provide them with financial support.

Today, there are approximately 3,000 married full-time Torah scholars in the dati leumi community. We focus on the top percentile (today we have 60) and grant them a substantial monthly scholarship to enable them to remain in the Torah world as they grow and develop into Gedolei Yisrael.

02

Support for Avreichim Initiative

We provide financial assistance to thousands of needy families of avreichim learning in dati leumi yeshivot and kollelim throughout Israel.

Twice a year, before Pesach and Rosh Hashanah, Echad L’Echad provides these families with a grant ranging from NIS500 to NIS 2000. This concrete assistance enables them to celebrate Yom Tov with dignity and serves as a boost to their morale.

Support is provided to avreichim who submit a request and/or those who are endorsed by their Roshei Yeshivot or community rabbis, based on the level of need.

03

Yeshivah Growth Fund

We provide financial assistance to thousands of needy families of avreichim learning in dati leumi yeshivot and kollelim throughout Israel.

We provide “seed money” and loans where applicable for the development and sustainability of high-functioning dati leumi Torah institutions and Torah initiatives, which are on the way to becoming self-supporting.

Each applicant is evaluated individually, and assistance granted based on the worthiness and viability of the institution in a transparent process with full oversight.

Supplementary Projects

Budding Torah Author Program

In collaboration with the Yisa Midabrotecha project, we nurture the scholarly creativity and erudition of young men at the Yeshivah Gedolah level. Each year, we host a competition where submissions are meticulously reviewed and evaluated by esteemed Torah scholars. The most outstanding entries are honored with cash prizes.

The initiative not only encourages students to research and write their own original Torah ma’amarim, but also acts as a stepping stone to our Torah Scholars Excellence Program, which cultivates the next generation of Torah scholars.

Empowering Community Rabbis

In our ongoing effort to enhance the role and authority of community rabbis, we are currently developing a new initiative that allows rabbis to collaborate with Echad L’Echad on local charity projects.

This partnership not only leverages our platform for community benefits but also strengthens donor confidence by ensuring that all charitable contributions are thoroughly vetted and verified by the Echad L’Echad team.

“The Echad l’Echad Foundation gives charity out of a sense of respect and appreciation and requests nothing in return.”

“The grant received from Echad l’Echad is oxygen to breathe. We can enter into the holidays by focusing on what’s holy and not only on how we will finish off the month.”
